Through the Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) Scheme, installers who fit a Grant Aerona or Aerona 290 air source heat pump with an Aerona Smart Controller, which have been recognised as an ECO4 Substantial Innovation Measure by OFGEM, can now access a 45 per cent innovation measure uplift.
Through the Government’s ECO4 Scheme, funding is provided to eligible households to support the installation of energy efficiency measures into their homes with the aim of reducing fuel poverty and carbon emissions. Within the scheme, Innovation Measures are recognised which can either be Standard or Substantial. Installers who fit products or technologies which are ECO4 Innovation Measures can subsequently access additional funding with uplifts.
Grant air source heat pumps have been awarded the highest uplift of 45 per cent after OFGEM recognised them as a Substantial Innovation Measure, delivering significant added benefit to the end-user. Grant UK’s ECO4 Innovation 45% Uplift comprises of a comprehensive service and maintenance package which ECO4 installers can purchase after they have installed an Aerona³ or Aerona 290 air source heat pump. Through this service package, Grant UK will then provide the end-user with ongoing support for their heat pump through annual servicing, remoting monitoring and guarantee, and the ECO4 installer will be able to claim the 45 per cent uplift in funding.
In summary, when a Grant heat pump is installed as an ECO4 Substantial Innovation Measure, Grant UK will support the set-up of the heat pump system with one of their in-house Technical Sales Support Engineers attending site on the first installation. Grant UK will then carry out remote monitoring checks three months after installation, and again after twelve months, to ensure that the system is correctly set up and operating at its highest efficiencies. The heat pump will be supported with a 12-year guarantee as well as 12 years’ worth of annual servicing (11 visits in total) carried out by a Grant UK Field Service Engineer. Grant UK’s Technical Team will also provide support online, over the phone and via remote monitoring for the end-user and their installer.
