Innovate & Illuminate: Shining a Light on Industry Expertise

12 March 2026 by Googler

A new programme of free CPD-accredited events will bring industry professionals together across the UK to explore the latest developments in EV charging, lighting and electrical innovation.

Hosted by Philip Payne, Ratio EV, TRT Lighting and Portland Traffic, the Innovate & Illuminate series will visit four locations in 2026, offering electrical professionals, designers and specifiers valuable insight into emerging technologies and industry best practice.

Building on the success of previous events, each session will feature four CPD-accredited presentations certified by CIBSE. The presentations are designed to be informative and non-sales focused, covering real-world applications, regulations and key trends shaping the electrical and building services sectors.

Alongside the CPD sessions, attendees will have opportunities to network with engineers, consultants, contractors and specifiers, encouraging collaboration and discussion around the future of electrification and sustainable infrastructure.

2026 Event Dates

  • 14 May – Birmingham – Hotel du Vin
  • 11 June – London – The Tattershall Castle
  • 10 September – Manchester – National Football Museum
  • 7 October – Edinburgh – The Scotch Whisky Experience

Previous Innovate & Illuminate events have attracted strong interest from professionals across the UK, reflecting the growing demand for accessible CPD and industry networking opportunities.

Spaces are limited.
