Ever walked 11 miles? How about while wearing a kilt?

The Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) is excited to announce that the Kiltwalk is back for 2026 – and this time, it’s taking place in Edinburgh on 13 September!

Lace up your trainers and don your finest tartan as you join EIC for the Big Stroll, a scenic 11-mile walk starting at Fisherrow Links in Musselburgh and finishing at Scottish Gas Murrayfield. Together, we’ll take Scotland’s capital by storm in support of a cause that powers our industry.

The upcoming Kiltwalk follows the success of the 2025 event, where a dedicated team of nine Kiltwalkers took to the streets of Glasgow and raised over £2,700 for the EIC.

EIC Managing Director, Jess Vailima, says she’s eager to build on the momentum from 2025’s Kiltwalk and make this year’s event bigger and better than ever.

“After the success of this year’s event, I cannot wait to take to the streets of Edinburgh in my kilt and do it all over again. Each one of these events brings people together in support of a cause that looks after every corner of the electrical and energy industries,” says Jess.

All funds raised from this challenge will go directly back into the industry, allowing those who need it to access mental health support, financial aid, bereavement services, legal support and so much more.

Help us make it happen. Find out more here or contact the fundraising team directly.
