2 September 2026 by Googler

The ECA(SA) Highveld Region, in collaboration with TDMI and AREP, recently hosted an informative webinar focusing on the latest updates to SANS 10142-1 Edition 3.3, a topic of significant importance to electrical contractors, designers, installers, and inspection authorities across South Africa.

The overwhelming response, with approximately 1 700 registrations, highlighted the industry’s commitment to staying abreast of regulatory and technical developments that impact electrical installations and compliance requirements.

For those who were unable to attend the live session, or for participants who would like to revisit the discussions and key insights shared by the presenters, the full webinar recording is now available to view online. This valuable resource provides an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the recent amendments and their practical implications for the electrical contracting industry.

We extend our sincere appreciation to TDMI, AREP, the presenters, and all participants whose support contributed to the success of this knowledge-sharing initiative. In addition, a follow-up Q&A session is being planned to address questions raised during the webinar and to further unpack key topics. Details will be communicated in due course.

Access the recording via the link below and stay informed on the latest developments in electrical installation standards.
