VACANCY: Publications Editor / Manager

The Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) is seeking a motivated and experienced Publications Editor/Manager to manage and produce its publications, including an e-newsletter (22 issues per year) and a digital magazine (six editions per year), as well as supporting marketing and promotional activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, editing, and compiling content; managing the full publication process from layout to distribution; maintaining the ECA website via WordPress; and coordinating advertising sales and material. The role also involves producing marketing collateral such as brochures, booklets, and promotional materials, and participating in the ECA Marketing Committee.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the electrical contracting industry
  • Experience in publishing, editing, and content production
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Ability to manage layouts and work with designers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and WordPress
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

Experience within an association environment and report writing will be advantageous.

The position offers a competitive salary, Medical Aid, and Pension Fund upon confirmation of permanent employment.
